Moong Sabut Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole green gram (Moong Sabut), soaked overnight
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 cups water
- Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
- Drain the soaked whole green gram and rinse it thoroughly with water. Set it aside.
- In a pressure cooker, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and fry until they start to sizzle.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
